About 20–25 minutes by car along the Kootenay Lake shoreline. The Balfour ferry terminal is roughly five minutes away, and lake beaches are within about ten minutes.
Yes. Eagles Nest, Robins Nest and Ravens Nest are three separate, fully private chalets set across a 20-acre forested mountainside estate. Each has its own entrance, outdoor space and parking.
Yes. Together the three chalets welcome up to 16 guests, making the estate well suited to family reunions, celebrations and group getaways. Contact us to reserve all three.
Eagles Nest has a covered six-person hot tub, and Ravens Nest has a private hot tub beneath its covered cedar deck. Robins Nest offers a large private cedar view deck instead.
Yes. Eagles Nest offers ample parking right by the house for boats, snowmobiles and RVs, and the Redfish forest service road trails begin about 500 metres from the chalet.
Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 11 am at all three chalets.
No. All three chalets are strictly pet-free.
No, four-wheel drive isn’t needed. Winter tires are required by law on British Columbia highways through the winter months, so please make sure your vehicle has them.
Yes. The estate has very fast Wi-Fi, and a Generac backup generator keeps the power and internet running through outages, so there’s no downtime.
Sheets, towels, blankets and pillows; shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a hair dryer; coffee, a variety of teas and pantry staples; and propane for the five-burner barbecue. The kitchen includes a KitchenAid stand mixer, Vitamix blender, coffee grinder, drip and French press coffee makers and place settings for 16, and there’s a washer and dryer and a 65-inch smart TV. For groups of seven or more, extra bedding and towels are included.
