Good to know

Questions, answered.

Do I need four-wheel drive to reach the estate in winter?

No. Winter tires are required by law on BC highways through the winter months, but four-wheel drive isn’t needed.

Is there parking for trucks, trailers and snowmobiles?

Yes. Eagles Nest has parking right by the house for oversized vehicles, trailers and sleds, and the Redfish Creek trails begin about 500 metres away.

How far is Whitewater Ski Resort?

About 45 minutes by car.

Can we stay before or after a Baldface or Stellar trip?

Absolutely. Baldface guests fly out of Nelson, about 25 minutes away, and Stellar Heli Skiing is based in Kaslo, about 30 minutes north. Many guests add a night on either side of their trip.
